According to court documents and flight logs, Prince Andrew flew on Jeffrey Epstein's private aircraft and stayed at his properties on multiple occasions between 1999 and 2001. Virginia Giuffre has alleged in court filings that she was trafficked by Epstein and forced to have sexual encounters with Prince Andrew when she was 17, claims which the Prince has categorically denied. Prince Andrew settled a civil lawsuit with Giuffre in February 2022 for an undisclosed amount while admitting no wrongdoing. The Prince stepped back from royal duties in 2019 following controversy over his association with Epstein.
